We have a special fresh horseradish available. Listen to our latest Tony’s Tips with Tony Russo to learn about it!...
Kaki persimmons look similar to hachiya persimmons, but they’re flatter and not as conical. As Tony Russo from Russo’s in Watertown, Massachusetts, tells us, “they’re versatile in that they can be eaten just like this, hard as a rock, or nice and ripe!”
These kumquats are “about as perfect as they can be!” Just wash them off and eat them. “What everyone wants is the contrast. You can eat everything, the skin which is sweet and the fruit is tart,” says Tony Russo from Russo’s in Watertown, Massachusetts. The season ends abruptly, and will start again soon in California into the late spring or summer.
