Wholesale at A. Russo & Sons, Inc.

For more than 100 years, Russo’s has provided wholesale produce to customers throughout New England. We supply our products to restaurants, businesses and schools, including public schools and universities.

Our great-grandfather Antonio Russo was a farmer based in Watertown. He sold his produce - specializing in beans, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers - to local businesses and at Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall in Boston. Eventually, “Papa” Russo opened a wholesale business on Lexington Street. From there, the family business expanded to include small retail stores such as “Town Garden” on Main Street (which some of you may remember from growing up in Watertown!).

Our current location at 560 Pleasant Street in Watertown includes both our wholesale and retail departments. Our retail store, known as “Russo’s,” offers fresh produce with a focus on locally-grown and organic items. In addition, we have a bakery, florist, plant department, cheese department and prepared foods. Our wholesale customers may order all of the items we offer in our store.
