Tony’s Tips: Cherimoya is a fruit that tastes like custard
Russo’s cherimoyas are at the front of the store, because “we want people to see it!” says Tony Russo from Russo’s in Watertown, Massachusetts. “It’s green on the outside and pure white on the outside with big seeds, and the fruit is like custard,” says Tony. These ones come from Chile and they're grown year-round in Southeast Asia. Make sure you only eat the inside!
